The mission of Schoolhouse 226 is to provide a core educational, physical and spiritual foundation for your child to be successful in the world today. We believe that children are designed by God to be a leader, to be someone who makes a difference in the world, and has influence over the lives of others. Our goal is to facilitate the opportunities that allow your child to develop into that leader in a loving, positive preschool environment.  

What We Believe

At Schoolhouse 226, we are committed to collaborating with parents to establish the essential foundation that influences a child's lifelong development. We offer a school experience that integrates Biblically-informed child care with an educational emphasis, equipping children with the skills needed to lead in their schools and communities. 

Every student is unique, possessing different skills and learning styles. This is the reason we design a personalized learning plan for each child, blending direct instruction, small-group activities, and intentional play in a manner that best suits their individual needs.

Being locally owned, Schoolhouse 226 is closely aligned with the expectations for children entering elementary school in Collin County. Consequently, we provide an award-winning curriculum that is the culmination of years of innovation and research, equipping our preschool classrooms with developmentally suitable multisensory tools and strategies.
